This year we can again enjoy our success at the POPAI Awards competition, where we succeeded with five realizations. The display with the Oral B toothbrush was selected as an excellent realization.
A new pallet island for Coca-Cola HBC should acquaint shoppers with Natura bottled water and point out rebranding. It fits into a broad campaign with a similar goal. It shows the purity of the water from Adršpach with the help of water bubbling between rocks and real, live conifer in the middle.
It seems that the subject matter of the current crisis will not leave us soon. We hear about it from all sides, and instead of focusing mainly on work, we constantly think about what will happen. In Dago, we decided to approach this crisis positively and proactively....
These days, JOJO confectionery hardly escapes the attention of most shoppers. For its promotion, we have produced two types of pallet displays you could currently see in selected stores. The first one presents the brand using a hologram; the second one has a plush parrot that lures shoppers.
Becherovka from Karlovy Vary has decided to show people from all over the world the best from its portfolio. For this purpose, it uses our shop-in-shop located in a busy place at Prague Airport. Passers-by can even smell some of the herbs from which the well-known alcoholic liqueur is made.
Many restaurants in Czech and Slovak will look much better. They will welcome their guests in newly equipped outdoor and indoor spaces we created for Coca-Cola. We placed emphasis on sustainable development and natural materials.
Flashing lights, illuminated tube, and 3D effects – these are the most distinctive elements of our pallet island for Zlatý Bažant radlers, which are now catching attention in Slovak stores. Among other things, the display has a relatively unusual function of prompt rebranding.
“It would be great to come closer and take a can,” say customers who have already seen our end cap for the new Cola by Birell in Czech stores. And that is all right! This display wants to stimulate curiosity and the desire to discover.
What could be better than starting each day with a delicious breakfast, which includes fresh fruit juice on the table? Our new end cap, we made for Cappy drinks, communicates such a message. It attracts passers-by in a store with its classic materials, stylish lighting and real food.
In May, we are opening our first branch office in Slovakia. We have been active in Slovakia since 2018, when one project manager has been working there. The number of customers increased since then, so opening a new office proved to be a logical step.
“Cirkulka” by Kofola reflects sustainability in the production of POS
Kofola ČeskoSlovensko has introduced its traditional drinks Kofola, Vinea, and Rajec in returnable bottles to the retail network this year. It is another in a series of sustainable activities that prove that the company is not indifferent to the care of nature. In the case of “Cirkulka”, moreover, it did not focus only on the packaging itself, but also sustainable POS materials.
After several months of preparations, Kofola is coming up with the Cirkulka project, which offers a packaging alternative for all those who do not want to buy soft drinks in disposable packaging or are looking for sustainable solutions.
Kofola usually supplies returnable glass bottles to gastronomy. The online retailer Rohlík.cz and selected Tesco retail stores in the Czech Republic and Slovakia became a new distribution channel for returnable litre glass bottles. Just for these stores, the communication agency Dago, together with Kofola, prepared a POS display set created with a combination of honeycomb and cardboard. “We wanted to prepare a premium display for Cirkulka,” explains Daniela Dlouhá, Kofola’s Trade Marketing Manager. “We are glad that we, together with Dago, have managed to find a balance between creating the right educational visibility and, at the same time, combining it with an ecological approach.”
In the production of the display, we have considered the extreme loads that the displays have to withstand. The display is filled with litre glass bottles and empty crates, in which consumers can combine popular drinks from Kofola, Vinea, and Rajec. “The Cirkulka is a new way of packaging that consumers have to get used to. Unlike other innovations, it is crucial for it to communicate its story and the benefits it brings,” says Vojtěch Kolmaš, Kofola’s Senior Brand Manager, adding: “In addition to returnable packaging and recycled plastic crates, we also focused on POS materials.”
In order to meet the issue of sustainability, attention was also paid to the reduction of waste material, which was also supported by the use of FCS-certified cardboard supporting environmentally friendly, socially beneficial, and economically viable forest management.
In total, Dago produced 56 single-pallet displays intended only for Slovak stores, 12 pieces of grips in the size of a single pallet, and 7 two-pallet displays produced for the Czech retail market. A total of 3 two-pallet displays were decorated with Holofan, thanks to which Kofola’s circular novelty and the functioning of the entire bottle recycling process will also be presented in the 3D video.
